Buzz In The Work Place For Small Business Entrepreneurs

Can you feel it? Times are changing in business success. There is a wave of energy as successful entrepreneurs everywhere take control of their business and their lives. By now hopefully I have you on the edge of your seat so lean in closer and I will share with you what I believe to be the paradigm shift of the century.

If you are of the Baby Boomer generation such as myself you may have grown up with the school of thought, study hard, work hard and you will be qualified as a success. But hold on a second, isn’t something missing from this equation? In these life rules for business success I don’t see anything about enjoyment. Is it possible to be a true success without enjoyment for what you do? I say no!

Enjoyment is a direct benefit from being in alignment with your true purpose. When you are working within your true purpose amazing things happen:

1)   Times flies by effortlessly

2)   Obstacles are not struggles but challenges that are met with curiosity and a bit of excitement.

3)   You are filled with a sense that all is well.

4)   The tiredness you feel at the end of the day is the kind of tired that promotes a good nights sleep.

5)   You greet each day with an eagerness to get up and get going.

By now you may be thinking this is too good to be true, but I promise it is not. I personally achieved true enjoyment and business success by incorporating three main ingredients into my recipe for conscious living. Ready? Here they are:

1)   Passion

2)   Gifts

3)   Talents or skills

PASSION – is what lights you up. It is grounded in spirit and is deeply embedded internally. When allowed, it gives you commitment and strength. Passion gives you courage to boldly go after your dreams.

GIFTS – are just that; gifts from God that help define who you are. Gifts are the things that you just naturally excel at or do well in.

TALENTS or SKILLS –are things we have learned to do and with practice, can perfect.

I encourage you to make a list of all three of these special ingredients and see what type of role they are playing in your business and your life. Write a sentence or two about how you are using your passions, gifts and talents on daily basis and then ask yourself “how can I utilize them more?”

When we concentrate on our positive abilities and traits we experience a shift in energy that helps us clarify what type of business we want to pursue or pushes us to the next level in a business we already have. This powerful combination also strengthens self-esteem, promotes confidence in the choices we make and connects us to joyful living.
