Living within your true passion is nothing new to Jennifer Shaw. A Journalism major with a deep love for the equine industry, she brings twenty-five years of finely tuned expertise in teaching, writing, client relations, and management into her coaching practice.
Jennifer spent many years involved in management with some of the major horse farms in both KY and FL. She played a key role in developing the Equine Practicum portion of the Midway College Equine program helping young women realize they too, could achieve their dreams.
Several years ago after experiencing a series of major losses including a major house fire, and a significant accident, Jennifer found the need to reinvent her own life and in the process discovered her own “missing link” or, True Life Purpose. She is now a Certified Transition, Grief and Loss Coach, that supports women in the midst of major life changes. Using Jennifer’s unique HEAL Process, women are able to ease emotional and physical pain so that they can release fears of the unknown, find life balance, and step confidently into the next stage of their life with true purpose.
Jennifer is a published author with articles on both on the Internet and in local publications. Her first book ALIGN, EXPAND, SUCCEED in which she is co-author made bestseller in four categories on Amazon October 2010.
Part of her practice also involves helping pet owners discover key elements in successfully healing from the loss of their treasured pet. Paws and Hoof Prints, Honoring the Passing of a Treasured Friend is currently in the works with a tentative completion date of next spring. Proceeds of this book of vital tips and memorable stories will be donated to the Canine Cancer Foundation and the Thoroughbred Retirement Center.
Jennifer serves on the board for Woodford County Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved with the local Humane Society, the Canine Cancer Foundation, as well as several women’s recovery charities.
